Proton Wira Special Edition (green)

by Kentangcf

Throughly enjoyed this mini detail with a friend from the same car club. Detailing with 2 people is always more fun than doing it alone.

The relatively soft paintwork on this car meant that correction was much more effective using M83 with the random orbital buffer, as seen in the before and after photos of the front bonnet. It was also my favourite car at that time as I was also driving a Proton Wira sedan, this was the SE model (‘sport type’) and has styling that was pretty neat.

To non-Malaysians reading this, non-national cars in Malaysia (i.e. not Proton or Perodua) are heavily taxed to protect our ‘infant’ automotive industry, hence, Protons were the most affordable ones and were popular among car enthusiasts. Anyway…

The hood was polished with ;

M83 DACP
M80 Speed Glaze
and waxed with NXT Tech Wax.

Other parts of the car has ColorX and NXT Tech Wax.
