Honda Accord 1991 Engine Detail

The owner recently transplanted a Prelude engine into his 1991 Accord, although the engine is new, the engine bay itself doesn’t look the part! So I did what I could to clean it up.

Process:

Wrap loose fuse box and electrical inlets with aluminium foil.
Rinse down with normal hose pressure.
Agitate with Meguiar’s Super Degreaser (4:1)
Agitate with Osren Multi Clean (4:1)
Rinse off.
Blow dry.
Spray with Meguiar’s Hyper Dressing (4:1)
Blot dry.
Meguiar’s Ultimate Quik Detailer used on painted surfaces and rocker cam cover.

Notes: I tried to use Autosol metal polish on the metal throttle body to shift the stains that couldn’t come out during the cleaning stage, unfortunately it didn’t manage to remove the stains. Some dirt cannot be removed even with vigorous scrubbing using Super Degreaser.
